Mandalay, Myanmar – YP Education Mandalay proudly announced the successful completion of its Rotary International-sponsored hospitality course, culminating in an awards ceremony that recognized the dedication of its students. The event, held at Y Hotel Mandalay, celebrated the achievements of 15 students who received 100% scholarships, along with their certificates of completion.
The ceremony saw a strong presence from the Rotary community, with a team from the Rotary Club and Rotaract Club visiting Mandalay specifically for the occasion. Members of the Rotary Club of Mandalay were also in attendance, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind this educational initiative.
A key highlight of the evening was the inspiring address by Mr. Hasitha Manthriratna, President of the Rotary Club and former General Manager of Pan Pacific Hotel. He imparted words of wisdom, urging the graduates to "Never give up" as they embark on their careers in the hospitality industry.
Mr. Prabhath Wickramasinghe, General Manager of Hotel 63, Service Chair of Rotary Club of Greater Yangon, and Director of YP Education, also shared valuable insights with the aspiring hoteliers. He emphasized the critical importance of three pillars for success in hotel life: English proficiency, meticulous grooming, and unwavering discipline.
